James Hughes, the Chief Marketing Officer of Scope Markets, has left the company to pursue a new venture. In an email sent to Finance Magnates, Hughes mentioned that he is "embarking on a new venture to leverage his 20+ years of experience working with the global brokerage industry."

Hughes joined Scope Markets in 2019 as the Chief Market Analyst. Before his promotion to the role of CMO, he served as Head of Brand and Chief Market Analyst and later Group Head of Marketing . He has worked for other notable brands in the industry, such as CMC Markets, Alpari, eToro, GKFX, and AxiCorp Financial Services.

Speaking about his next step, Hughes said: "I know first-hand the educational value that content can deliver in this market, which is why I’m using this opportunity to build on my own experience and harness the knowledge of others to develop an array of multi-asset, multi-format products, and services."

"Collectively, these will deliver a unique, comprehensive, and right-sized solution for anyone looking to grow their profile by spanning both market commentary as well as messaging, positioning, and branding services."

Scope Markets' Expansion

Last month, Scope Markets launched a new branch in Nabatieh, Lebanon, to meet the rising demand for its services in the region. The new branch is the fourth of its kind launched by the brokerage firm in the country.

Scope Markets aims to cater to the personalized needs of traders in Lebanon through the new branch. The firm aims to provide its users with personalized assistance and support to boost their trading services.

Pavel Spirin, the CEO of Scope Markets, emphasized the strategic importance of the MENA region in the firm's expansion strategy, affirming its progress and potential for growth. Rostro Group's acquisition of Scope Markets last year facilitated reentry into China through the latter.
