"We couldn't be happier to have Matt onboard and part of our Futures business," said Druch. "His experience as an attorney and previous positions as a CCO will be integral to the success of our firm."

Indeed, Lisle has been a licensed attorney for more than three decades and has spent the last 25 years strengthening the legal and regulatory compliance efforts of several companies in the financial industry.

Most recently, he was the Director of Legal at Chicago-based Galaxy Digital, a digital asset company, for a couple of years. In addition, he was the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at DrawBridge Lending between June 2018 and November 2020. On top of that, he worked as the Chief Compliance Officer at ABN AMRO Clearing Chicago for five years.

Lisle's financial industry experience includes a three-year tenure at New York Stock Exchange in compliance-related roles. Moreover, he worked at Eurex and the National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA). He started his futures regulatory career as a staff attorney with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

"We look forward to leveraging Matt's experience in the industry to further enhance client solutions across the range of FICCS product offerings," said Bob Fitzsimmons, the Head of the Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities and Securities Finance (FICCS) division at Wedbush.

Business Expansion

Wedbush Securities has operated in the American financial services market for almost seven decades. Its services range from wealth management, investment banking and capital markets, clearing and execution, to advisory.

Presently, the company is expanding into the foreign exchange prime brokerage industry, which is expected to start in May and will help to broaden its existing multi-asset clearing services. It will operate under the company's FICCS division.

For its push into the FX prime brokerage, Wedbush hired several Jefferies executives led by industry veteran Michael Stone, a former Vice President (VP) at the commodities futures dealer Jefferies Bache, to build the new unit. Stone leads the prime brokerage team as the Senior Vice President. James Peckham, Ray Cera, and Stephen Lamb, who were all previously VP of FX Prime Brokerage at Jefferies, also joined Wedbush.
