Exness Showcases Commitment to Gender Diversity at Forbes Events

Tech-driven multi-asset broker Exness served as the Platinum Sponsor of the Forbes Cyprus 20 Women in Tech Awards, reinforcing its support for women in the tech industry. The event, held on December 8, 2023, at City of Dreams in Limassol, honored the women entrepreneurs and professionals in the tech sector, celebrating their achievements in the industry and their social impact.

Simultaneously, Exness Chief Administrative Officer Elena Krutova represented the company at the Forbes Cyprus Future of Fintech Summit, joining a panel discussing the tech sector and gender diversity. The summit, attended by over 1,000 professionals from more than 100 fintech companies worldwide, featured more than 20 insightful talks exploring current trends and future directions.

During the panel discussion, Mrs. Krutova emphasized the importance of gender diversity in technology. She spoke of the importance of embracing our differences as men and women in the workplace and recognizing that true progress and diversity lies in balance. She also commented on how important it is to invite men to the conversation when it comes to diversity and representation.

Mrs. Krutova also shed light on Exness’ efforts in bridging the gender gap and promoting women in leading and expert positions. Exness has consistently been at the forefront of workplace diversity and inclusivity, reporting a 36.9% female workforce with significant representation in leadership roles, including C-level executives. She stressed that increasing visibility, recognition, and professional development are crucial for enhancing women’s careers in tech and overall inclusivity in the workplace.

Her advice to aspiring female leaders in the tech sector is to feel more confident every day. “Females have the same great skills and proven track records. Why lessen your past successes?” She has also spoken about how women bring ‘softer’ skills to the table - emotional intelligence, empathy, resilience. “Do not be shy to show it!” she says. “These skills are needed in the current BANI world.” Another important point she has spoken on is that women can develop better products for women - “Who knows women better than women?” And last but not least, according to Mrs.Krutova, is to ensure proper support - “with your family, friends, or network to have a good mentor.”
