Commenting on the announcement, the Executive Director of Banc De Binary Limited, Christos Taliadoros, said: “Football is quite a popular sport among people in our field. The partnership will last throughout the 2016/2017 season and according to estimates made by some industry insiders could be worth up to £300,000 ($400,000). The brokerage will be dubbed the “official trading partner” of Southampton FC.

The deal is aiming to expand the reach of the binary options brokerage across the UK market, with the fanbase of Southampton focused largely in the United Kingdom. Banc De Binary is continuing its sports sponsorship effort which started last year with Liverpool FC, an agreement which the company will not be extending.
