EZTrader Signs New Sponsorship Deal With Italian Football Club Roma

Binary options brokerage EZTrader.com has announced a new partnership deal with a football club. This time the company has picked Italy to expand its branding presence by signing a deal with Roma AS from the capital of Italy, Rome.

The deal with Roma has been signed for three seasons with EZTrader.com gaining branding space via advertising at AS Roma’s home matches and by using the football club’s digital communication channels, including the team’s website ASRoma.com.

Commenting on the deal, the CEO of EZTrader, Shimon Citron, said: “As we continue to build our business and brand across Europe, it is increasingly important for us to have a partner in Rome. AS Roma is an ambitious and iconic club and, with Rome as its home, the perfect choice of partner for us.”

US Listing of EZTD Inc.

The company which owns the brokerage is listed in the US on the OTC Market under the ticker EZTD Inc (OTCQX:EZTD), with its current market value amounting to about $12.35 million. Since it has officially started publishing results, the firm is yet to turn an annual profit, but the company’s revenues have been on the rise, reaching almost 26 million in 2015.

Despite the growth in revenues, the company’s costs have outpaced its growth in revenues, and losses have began decreasing only last year. Earlier this year in May, the company reported that its revenues flatlined despite a substantial increase in trading volumes.The firm has also executed a reverse stock split, aiming to list on NASDAQ, however the company's losses have increased three times when compared to last year.

EZTrader Bullish on Football

Using football sponsorships has not been uncommon in the binary options industry, especially for EZTrader.com. The brokerage has been engaged in numerous sponsorship deals with a variety of European clubs in countries such as Germany, France, Japan, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

AS Roma has finished third in the 2015-16 season of the Serie A championship in Italy. After three rounds in the 2016-17 season, the team is ranked third with two wins and one draw.
