AirSoft Launches CFDs Offering as New CEO Takes Charge

AirSoft is a full-service brokerage technology developer with offices in Cyprus and Hong Kong offering binary options, Forex and now contracts for difference (CFDs). A new CEO moved into the role on June 1st and Finance Magnates sat down with him at his new office to learn about his plans.

Shay Benhamou, the new AirSoft CEO, is a recent addition to the online margin trading industry and he says that he is very thrilled about the business and trading. For many years he played key roles in some of the leading investment houses in Israel, mainly in charge of international equities trading. Forex, binary options and CFDs appear to him as more modern technologies, and more fun also.

Raised and educated in Canada, Benhamou says he always wanted to be a broker ever since he saw the movie Wall Street as a kid. Indeed, his first job out of college was at a Canadian brokerage, including running on the trading floor of the Montreal Exchange confirming last trades as the closing bell rang.

Focus on Service

Benhamou was brought into AirSoft to take the company to a higher organizational level. Until now AirSoft has been managed by its owners, but they felt that since the company had grown so rapidly, there is a need for a professional full-time manager to be able to streamline its global operations while continuing to expand.

Considering his institutional background, Benhamou says he chose to join AirSoft as its binary options technology looks and feels like a professional trading tool, not so much as the simple gaming products offered by other developers. He was also impressed that the two-year old company already has thirty registered clients (brokers) after just two years running.

The company’s solution is a complete software package needed to run an online brokerage and end-to-end business consulting services. As such, the addition of a CFDs platform is a natural addition.

Benhamou explains that AirSoft has received many demands from clients for CFDs, mainly in Asia where trading gold and oil is more popular than forex, working quickly to respond to this demand. One thing the new CEO says that sets him apart from other firms is his commitment to service, making himself available to clients and always responding promptly.

The new CFDs platform is already running on two of AirSoft’s brands, it offers indices, commodities, energy and single stocks shares. The company is the Diamond sponsor of the Amsterdam IGB Affiliate conference where it will officially launch the CFD technology.
