Kinsta Announces Bitcoin Accepted for WordPress Hosting

WordPress became the most widely known company at the end of 2012 when it announced that it would accept bitcoins for Payments of WordPress.com upgrades. Since then, additional services for website developers such as domain registration and Hosting have also become available to bitcoin payments. Providing another opportunity for website developers, London based WordPress company Kinsta, has announced today that they now accept bitcoin payments for their services. Recently going public, Kinsta, is a new arrival to WordPress Hosting, with around 100 users of their services.

In launching bitcoin payments, Kinsta has partnered with Coinbase, using their merchant payment solutions from Coinbase, the technology allows users to pay via subscriptions for WordPress hosting. A representative for Kinsta explained to DC Magnates that once authenticated with Coinbase, monthly payments are made automatically. They added that in the event of funds not being available, there is a one week grace period during which multiple alerts are sent to the user.

In regards to companies accepting bitcoins, web related products are one of the better matches as they are a service based, with many designers and developers themselves receiving bitcoins for work they conduct for global contractors.
