Who is @DorianSatoshi?

(Update - the Twitter handle for @DorianSatoshi has been subsequently changed to @Satoshi_N)

It’s the weekend, so now is as a good time as ever for a humor post.

If there is anything positive to Newsweek’s ‘outing Satoshi Nakamoto article, it’s been the creation of @DorianSatoshi. A parody of Dorian Nakamoto on Twitter, the stream is a hilarious timeline of tweets that started with a simple “Well, this sucks” and then took a life of their own with the #freelunch and #bitcoinchase took place.

Bitcoin is generally more of a serious topic, due it being considered a technology with the potential to disrupt the future of money, as opposed to dogecoin which although it has evolved to become a formative alt-coin due to its community remains comical at heart. Nonetheless, it hasn’t been all serious, with great humor also emerging. Among my personal favorites is Dilbert’s ‘Digital Somali Pirates’. More recently Jon Stewart had a field day with MtGox’s bankruptcy.

While those pieces and many more have their moments, live tweeting has taken @DorianSatoshi a step further as the account brought humor to Thursday’s events as they happened, as well as continued to do so throughout the weekend: Some of the funnier tweets:

This all brings us to the question everyone wants to know? Who is @DorianSatoshi?
