On Tuesday, Kraken, a major cryptocurrency exchange , said that it had opened the official waitlist for Kraken NFT, its official NFT marketplace. According to the company, users on the new platform will have zero gas fees on trades, as crypto traders will not pay any blockchain network fees for the trading activity that takes place within the platform.
Also, Kraken NFT will come with built-in tools to help people track the rarity scores of their NFTs and compare them to other NFTs within the same collection. Moreover, sellers can list NFTs in USD, EUR, CAD, GBP, CHF, AUD or any of the 120 cryptocurrencies Kraken supports, and buyers can bid on NFTs using any of these currencies as well.
“Kraken NFT allows you to curate your NFT collection across multiple blockchain networks within a single interface. Whether you are looking to grab the latest collection on Solana or a classic NFT on Ethereum, Kraken NFT lets you manage all of your holdings from one place. Kraken NFT will include these two networks at launch, and we can’t wait to share the many other blockchains we plan to activate,” the crypto exchange highlighted.
People in the marketplace will be entitled to use Creator Earnings, a way to reward the artists and innovators in the NFT sphere by paying them a portion of each secondary market sale price of the NFTs they created.
There is no a fixed timeline set for the waitlist to remain open for Kraken NFT as of press time.
