The wallet application is available for Mac, Windows, Linux, Android, and Apple iOS operating systems. A Google Chrome extension for the wallet interface is also offered. The wallet is meant to be user-friendly and is intended for beginners just getting into cryptocurrency.

Ver provided his views on the wallet: "I’m excited about our new wallet. The user interface is straightforward, and I think beginners and even seasoned bitcoin users are going to appreciate the simplicity."

As you may recall, at the start of the year Ver was suspended from participating in one of the most popular community forums in a harsh example of the repercussions of the Bitcoin civil war. This latest move by his company will surely not win him any new fans among Bitcoin hardliners.

Investing in startups including bitcoin.com, Blockchain , Z.cash, BitPay, Kraken, Purse.io and Ripple, Ver has contributed over $1 million to the development of the Bitcoin ecosystem over the past six years.
