London-based cryptocurrency exchange London Block Exchange has added two more digital coins - BItcoin Cash and Ethereum Classic - to its offerings. This announcement came mere weeks after the exchange introduced trading options with Ripple.
In total, the exchange is now offering trading of six cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Ripple, against the pound sterling.
The exchange’s founder and CEO Benjamin Dives commented: “Since launching, we’ve proven incredibly popular among UK crypto-enthusiasts, given our low-cost trading and excellent app. We’re now strengthening the fact we offer more coins than most popular exchanges and are listening to the community in deciding which coins we will list.”
With the introduction of BCH and ETC, London Block Exchange has become the sole exchange in the UK to offer trade pairs of these two coins with GBP. Moreover, it is the only exchange to underpin with the UK on-shore banking.
Though founded only to execute OTC trades involving Cryptocurrencies in last November, London Block Exchange has attracted many retail clients in the recent months with the introduction of its trade pairs against GBP. Last month, the exchange rolled out on-shore accounts for its clients in phases and also gave access to the Faster Payments Service to the platform users.
Coins gaining momentum
Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum Classic, both are forked coins introduced after a clash of philosophy in the community. However, over the months, both have attracted a massive crowd of enthusiasts.
BCH and ETC were not immune the massive cryptocurrency market crash in the first quarter of 2018. However, since the start of April, both the coins are showing promising trends as BCH gained 120 percent, along with 68 percent appreciation of ETC, according to CoinMarketCap.com.
