United States equity brokerage, tastyworks has partnered with SeedCX’s crypto infrastructure provider, Zero Hash, to offer digital asset trading services to the stock traders on the platform.

Announced on Wednesday, the integration of services will allow the brokerage clients to trade Bitcoin and Ethereum from the same account they are using to trade company stocks, options and futures.

“I’ve traded crypto personally for several years, but what’s been missing is the seamless integration with the rest of my portfolio,” Tom Sosnoff, Chief of tastyworks' parent tastytrade, said. “This partnership with Zero Hash solves that problem for all tastyworks clients. Plus, crypto is becoming its own asset class. As Bitcoin becomes more mainstream, tastyworks and Zero Hash will provide the go-to platform for retail traders.”

Is the Bitcoin Rally Creating a Demand for Trading Infrastructure Provider?

The announcement of adding crypto trading services came the same day of Bitcoin breaching the $20,000 mark and touching a new all-time high. This triggered a major bullish rally in the cryptocurrency market with heavy demands coming from both retail and institutional clients.

Zero Hash is registered as a Money Services Business and FX Dealer with FinCEN, and it is holding licenses from over 45 US state regulators. Its infrastructure supports spot and derivatives settlement for Cryptocurrencies .

Its infrastructure is used by many industry players, like TradeStation Crypto and Gold-i.

“Zero Hash is committed to building best-of-breed technology for the digital asset space, and tastyworks shares that ambition in stock and options trading,” Edward Woodford, Zero Hash’s CEO, said.

“The demand from our clients for crypto and digital assets is huge,” Scott Sheridan, CEO of tastyworks, added. “It is the single most requested feature for the tastyworks platform. Because Zero Hash can be fully integrated with our clearing firm, this was the most straightforward and fastest way for us to do that. Our clients are already trading crypto, and now they can do that on our award-winning platform.”
