Multibank Gets New CCO at the Dubai Headquarters
Multibank Group has bolstered its leadership with the selection of Marc Aspinall as the new Chief Commercial Officer at the newly relocated Dubai headquarters. According to his Linkedin profile, he started the role earlier this week.
The appointment came only a few months after the forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) broker relocated its headquarters from Hong Kong to Dubai. Also, the broker replenished a few other senior management positions in its Dubai offices, including Roman Krutyanskiy as the Chief Business Development Officer and Omar Khaled as the Managing Director.
Further, the latest appointment of Aspinall is strategic, given his exposure of more than two decades to the FX/CFDs industry. He takes on the new role having left AllStars Digital where he was the Chief Operating Officer.

Exegy Names New C-Suite Executives
Exegy has named new C-Suite executives, which include David Taylor, promoted to Chief Executive Officer, Peter Feret, appointed as Chief Financial Officer, and Jason White elevated to Chief Technology Officer.
Exegy announced these new appointments on Thursday in a statement published on its website. The new top executives are longtime industry professionals with about two decades of experience. Taylor’s appointment as the CEO comes as James O’Donnell, who has been leading Exegy in that role for the last 17 years, retires from the apex position but remains a Board Member of the company.
Taylor is a veteran executive at Exegy who has served in product strategy and engineering roles. He joined the firm as the CTO in March 2005 and rose to become the Co-President in February 2021 and President in January this year. The executive, who spent over six years at Washington University in St. Louis in two academic roles, started out his career in 2002 as a Zurich Research Laboratory Intern at IBM in Switzerland.

Former HF Markets Head of Business Development Takes Similar Role in BDSwiss
Nicolas Morphitis has been appointed by BDSwiss to lead its global business development operations.
Throughout his career extending 12 years, Morphitis has been mainly situated in Cyprus. However, his adventure with the retail CFDs started quite recently, in 2018, with the Marketing and Affiliate Manager role at Centralspot Trading Ltd. In 2019, he was onboarded by Instant Trading EU, the owner of the InstaForex brand, where he held the role of Head of Affiliation.

CMC Invest Singapore Brings In New Head Before Soft Launch
CMC Markets has enhanced its Singapore oversight with the most recent appointment of Christopher Forbes as the Head of CMC Markets Singapore Invest Pte. Ltd., operating as CMC Invest Singapore.
This placement was made prior to the soft launch of services under CMC Invest Singapore on 31 March 2023. Forbes will be in charge of the entire launch of the new services, the press release shared with Finance Magnates detailed.
Forbes joined CMC from Clermont Group where he was the Head of Trading and led the Capital Markets and minority Private Equity Investments portfolios.

Ex-Swissquote Officer to Lead Arab Bank Switzerland Blockchain Tech Team
Justas Cepenas announced that he started a new role on Wednesday as the Blockchain Tech Lead and a Director at Arab Bank Switzerland Ltd.
According to Cepenas’ LinkedIn profile, he joined from FlowBank, where he has been working for the last two years as the Head of Crypto & Trading Platforms and Deputy Director. Now, he will utilize his digital assets experience in the new position at Arab Bank Switzerland, which joins other traditional financial institutions betting on growth in the blockchain industry.

Finalto Strengthens its Sales Team with Former iS Prime Senior Marco Maggioni
Finalto, an institutional trading and liquidity services company, announced that Marco Maggioni joined its team. Maggioni joins as Sales Director with a focus on liquidity and execution services for the institutional market.
According to a statement issued by the firm, Maggioni has been serving the e-fx industry for nearly 15 years and has picked up a good deal of expertise along the way, developing business and delivering sales growth for some of the most established FX brokers in Europe, opening branch offices and regional desk, managing the entire sales cycle from the origination of opportunities through to the execution of the sales strategy and closing deals.

CEX Expands into APAC with New Hong Kong-Based Head of Sales
GCEX has expanded into the Asia Pacific and has hired Sue Cheung as the Head of APAC Sales. Located in Hong Kong, she is the first senior APAC-specific hire for the group.
Presently, the digital prime brokerage will begin onboarding Asia Pacific clients: FX clients from the region will be onboarded under GCEX’s FCA-regulated UK entity, while digital asset clients will be brought in under the Danish entity, regulated by the FSA.
Additionally, the hiring of Cheung is strategic as she brings vast experience working in the Asian offices of several companies in the financial services industry.

Sucden Financial's Head of e-FX Joins ADM Investor Services International
After more than 14 years at Sucden Financial Limited as Head of eFX, Peter Brooks has decided to move to ADM Investor Services International Limited (ADMISI).
According to his LinkedIn profile, Brooks moved from Sucden to ADMISI in February. He is in charge of developing the full-service brokerage company's electronic forex trading products and team management.

Broadridge Strengthens European Sales Team, Hires Bunouf and Aguilera
Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE:BR) has announced sourcing two new industry experts for its European sales department. Guillaume Bunouf and Alvaro Del Pino Aguilera will take charge of the identification of growth possibilities in the Old Continent.
According to the press release published on Monday, both Bunouf and Aguilera officially joined the Broadridge sales team in January. and In Paris, France, Bunouf took control over Broadridge's Capital Markets Solutions sales team. In contrast, Aguilera became the company's Director for the Middle East, Italy, Greece and the Iberia region.
The new Senior Sales Director's primary objective is to explore new client opportunities in Belgium, Luxembourg, France and French-speaking areas of Switzerland and expand the business in this crucial part of Europe.

Peter Spanos has exited the company to join GO Markets as the new Head of Risk & Product Development.
GO Markets was established in 2006, offering counterparty trading services to individuals and wholesale clients. The broker operates globally with licenses in Australia, Cyprus, UAE, Mauritius, and Seychelles. In addition, the brand sponsors Chelsea FC, a top football club in the English Premier League (EPL).
Furthermore, the group behind GO Markets launched a new brokerage brand called Radex Markets in late 2021. It operates globally under GO Markets’ securities dealer in Seychelles.

BDSwiss' Chief People Officer in Cyprus Leaves after a Year
Announced on Friday, Natale Mastoroudes is leaving her position that is based in Cyprus at the forex and CFDs broker. Her exit comes just after over a year on the job. She noted that she will announce her new role soon.
Also, Mastoroudes was onboarded by the broker as Head of HR in January 2022. Later, in June, She was promoted to Chief People Officer. The senior executive boasts more than 15 years of human resource and talent experience in the financial industry. On top of that, she has worked with companies, such as FXPPRIMUS and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Cyprus.

OneRoyal Elevates Elie Koueik to Lebanon Country Manager
OneRoyal has elevated Elie Koueik, one of its longtime executives, to the role of Country Manager in Lebanon. Koueik joined the broker in August 2009 as an Account Executive and became the firm’s Institutional Business Officer in September 2013.
The senior executive announced his promotion on Wednesday through LinkedIn. So far, Koueik has only worked for OneRoyal, which he joined when the brokerage was still named Royal Forex Trading (RFXT).
