Broadridge Enhances Global Leadership with the Appointment of COO

Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: BR) has announced the appointment of Roz Smith as Chief Operating Officer of Broadridge International, effective May 1, 2024.

Based in London, Smith will collaborate with Mike Sleightholme, President of Broadridge International, to expand and enhance Broadridge's global presence and customer service in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.

COO to Implement Tailored Solutions

Smith's primary focus in her new role will be on optimizing the operations of Broadridge International to achieve higher levels of efficiency and productivity. She will lead efforts to streamline processes, manage implementation projects, and ensure the effectiveness of organizational structures at the country and regional levels.

Additionally, Smith will work towards providing tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of clients while promoting best practices across different functions, business units, and geographical areas.

Meanwhile, Broadridge announced that Chief Financial Officer Edmund Reese will step down from his role effective June 30, 2024, as reported by Finance Magnates. In the interim, Ashima Ghei, currently serving as the CFO of Broadridge’s Investor Communication Solutions segment, will step in as Interim Chief Financial Officer.

Bringing HSBC Management Experience

Before joining Broadridge, Smith accumulated eighteen years of experience in management roles at HSBC. Her most recent position at HSBC was Head of Strategy and Change Management within the Non-Financial Risk team of the bank's Markets & Securities Services business.
