Prior to this role, MacPherson served as Regional Director of Sales at FactSet, where he managed a team responsible for expanding FactSet's business across various asset classes in the Pacific region. His responsibilities included overseeing strategic growth initiatives for bank and wealth clients, as well as providing executive oversight for key regional accounts.

Before his tenure at FactSet, MacPherson held roles at Glenmoira Consulting, focusing on business consultancy, development strategy, and project management. He also served as a Strategic Advisor and Non-Executive Director at Jaaims, where he contributed to financial technology and strategic partnerships.
