CGS-CIMB Securities Has Promoted Michael Oxlade to Global Head of Global Sales

Finance Magnates has recently become aware that Michael Oxlade has been elevated by CGS-CIMB Securities, a one-stop solution for comprehensive investment options including Bonds, CFDs, ETFs, Futures, FX and more, to Global Head of Global Sales, effective from January 2023.

According to a post on LinkedIn, Oxlade stated: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Global Head – Global Sales at CGS-CIMB Securities."

Andreas Lambrou Joins Prop Trading Firm Novustrader as CEO

Novustrader has onboarded Andreas Lambrou as the Chief Executive Officer. According to his LinkedIn profile, he has already joined the Nicosia offices of the firm.

Prop trading companies allow expert investors to trade with the company's funds and usually share the profits. These services are advantageous to traders as they can access large capital and do not risk personal funds. Novustrader offers up to $500,000 in trading capital to traders and shares 75 percent of the profits.

Admirals Names Juan Enrique Cadiñanos Moriano as Spain CEO

Admiral Markets Group has appointed Juan Enrique Cadiñanos Moriano as the new Chief Executive Officer for its Spanish operation. The appointment was an internal promotion, as Moriano was elevated to the post from his earlier position of Country Manager.

He has been a part of the Estonia-headquartered broker for almost seven years. He joined the Spanish offices of the broker in April 2016 and held the Country Manager role until this month.

William Klippel, Former GAIN Capital Exec, Joins Zero Hash

Zero Hash has hired William Klippel as its new Vertical Head of Investment Platforms. Zero Hash announced Klippe’s appointment on Thursday.

Klippe worked at GAIN Capital for almost 15 years, serving in various senior roles including as Director of Sales & Operations at GTX Direct, GAIN Capital’s institutional prime brokerage solution. Further, he worked at a StoneX Group subsidiary, FOREX.com.

GCEX MENA Adds Olivier Honsberger to the Board of Directors

GCEX Group has enhanced its presence in the Middle East and North Africa region with the latest addition of Olivier Honsberger to its Board of Directors.

The digital prime brokerage will benefit from Honsberger’s extensive experience in the region. Announced on Thursday, Honsberger will supervise the day-to-day operations of the company. He will take up a key role in developing the firm’s growth strategy in the region.

oneZero Hires Julián Gay as EMEA Institutional Sales Director

State Street Corporation (NYSE:STT) has announced the appointment of Andreas Przewloka as a new Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer for its subsidiary State Street Bank International GmbH (SSBI). Przewloka joins the bank from UBS and brings more than two decades of experience to the role.

According to the press release published on Wednesday, the newly appointed SSBI CEO assumed his role effective from 1 January 2023. He will report directly to Joerg Ambrosius, the Chairman of the Board and the Chief Commercial Officer for State Street.

FXCM Pro Elevates Jemal Shenolov to Institutional Sales VP

FXCM Pro has promoted Jemal Shenolov as the Vice President of Institutional Sales, which became effective earlier this month.

According to his Linkedin profile, Shenolov has been a part of FXCM Pro for more than four years. He joined the company's Bulgaria-based offices in October 2018 as a Pro Services Representative. Before the latest promotion, he held the Senior Pro Services Representative position.

Shenolov is an International and Business Management graduate from Birmingham’s Aston University.

oneZero Appoints UniCredit's Stephen Totten as Director of Quant Analysis

oneZero Financial Systems has hired Stephen Totten as its Director of Quantitative Analysis.

Totten announced his new appointment on Tuesday on LinkedIn. The executive left his old role at UniCredit after 11 years of serving the pan-European bank.

Totten boasts of roughly 20 years of financial industry experience. Previously, he worked as the Portfolio Manager at Citadel Investment Group for more than six years. He served the Florida-based investment firm between 2005 and 2010.

FXSpotStream's Co-Founder Alan Schwarz to Say Goodbye after over 11 Years

After 11 and a half years, Alan F. Schwarz’s journey as the Co-Founder and CEO of FXSpotStream will come to an end in February, the forex veteran announced on Tuesday.

FXSpotStream is a provider of multi-bank foreign exchange aggregation services for forex spot, swaps and forwards. The price streaming service is a wholly owned subsidiary of LiquidityMatch which was co-founded by Schwarz.

Thomas Zeeb Resigns from the Executive Board of SIX after 14 Years

Thomas Zeeb is leaving the Executive Board of SIX after spending more than 14 years at the Swiss stock exchange. He will step down at the end of January as the group's Global Head of Exchanges.

The Zurich-based exchange is now searching for a successor to Zeeb and has appointed Christoph Landis, another member of SIX’s Executive Board and the Head of IT, to take over Zeeb’s responsibilities on an interim basis. Landis has been a part of SIX since 1992 and previously led the Swiss Stock Exchange between 2015 and 2018.

BMLL Eyes Expansion with Rob Laible Onboard as Americas Head

BMLL announced on Tuesday the appointment of industry veteran Rob Laible as the Head of Americas. In addition, the company has plans to open a New York area-based office.

The appointment was strategic and will support the company’s geographic expansion growth plans. Laible, who will report directly to the CEO of BMLL, Paul Humphrey, will help the company with strategic priorities in the Americas and build a US-based team to handle the “increasing demand” from US-based clients.

Harry Fry Leaves Invast Global to Join BidX Markets APAC Head

On Monday, BidX Markets announced the onboarding of Harry Fry as the new Head of Asia Pacific operations. In the Australia-based role, he is being tasked with growing the company's institutional trading business.

The press release shared with Finance Magnates detailed that Fry will be responsible for leading the brokerage's efforts to develop and strengthen relationships with institutional clients and implement strategies. Thus, this will help increase the platform's trading activity across East Asia, South Asia, and Oceania. Additionally, he will oversee the company's growing team of client relationship managers and ensure the brokerage's compliance.

Ramon Kaur Announces IG Group Departure

Ramon Kaur has announced she is leaving her role as the Global Head of Communications for the IG Group.

The Oxford graduate had been with IG Group since February, initially starting as the Head of Public Affairs, which was a post she held for just over two years before taking on the position of Global Head of Communications for the online trading provider founded in 1974.

Prior to her time at the IG Group, Kaur was Head of EU Affairs for banking giant RBS, and an advisor for the UK Government, working for the Ministry of Justice.
