Market data and trading technology company Exegy appointed Jim Fiesel as its Chief Revenue Officer. Fiesel has an extensive experience in financial technology, having worked for major brands, including Broadridge.

He joins the firm from Broadridge, where he held the role of Managing Director for the Americas for nearly three years. Fiesel has also served as the Managing Director for the Americas Sales and Managing Director at Finastra and Tradeweb, respectively.

Previous Leadership Roles

“We are delighted to welcome Jim to our world-class team. His proven ability to build and lead successful teams that deliver real value to clients will be instrumental in helping us achieve our goals,” commented David Taylor, the CEO of Exegy.

“Our sharp focus on delivering superior client experiences directly contributed to our success in 2024,” he added. “Recruiting Jim represents a doubling-down on our investment in strengthening our client partnerships.”

According to the company, Fiesel will spearhead initiatives to further integrate Exegy’s suite of technologies, including those from Enyx and Vela. His leadership will also emphasize deepening client partnerships, an area Taylor described as central to the company’s recent success.

Experience From Bloomberg, LP

Fiesel also draws his extensive career background from his previous roles as the Head of Sales /General Manager for Americas at Calypso Technology and Sales Manager for Bloomberg.

“I’m thrilled about the future of the Exegy product suite, especially our next-generation enterprise market data solution that integrates proven technologies and services from Exegy, Enyx, and Vela,” Fiesel commented. “This innovative offering was a key factor in my decision to join Exegy, and I’m eager to help our clients capitalize on these exciting advancements.”

Last year, Exegy expanded its client services by appointing new senior executives and launching a new brand. Following its integration with Vela and Enyx, the company onboarded two industry veterans, Yewande Sobola and Thomas Gallo, to lead its Client Success Initiative.
