Petros Kalaitzis has left his role at Tools for Brokers to join FunderPro, a company offering prop trading services, as its new Chief Strategy Officer, Finance Magnates has learned exclusively. With over a decade of experience in the financial technology sector, Kalaitzis brings a wealth of knowledge to FunderPro.
To Oversee Operations and Marketing Departments
According to a statement shared with Finance Magnates, Kalaitzis will oversee the Operations and Marketing departments in his new role, ensuring that all initiatives align with the company's long-term vision and immediate objectives. The company expects his extensive expertise to guide FunderPro in navigating the financial services space.
Speaking about his new appointment, Kalaitzis said: “FunderPro is at a critical point in the evolution of the company. It has grown to a reasonable scale, things have stabilized, and we now enter the second phase of growth to reach the top of the industry. I look forward to working with the talented team to define our strategic direction and drive initiatives that will propel FunderPro to new heights.”
Before his new role at FunderPro, Kalaitzis was the Managing Director at Tools for Brokers for nearly two years. During his tenure, he reportedly played a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategic direction and managing essential operations. His leadership was instrumental in driving growth and fostering innovation, earning him a reputation for excellence in strategic planning and execution .
Tools for Brokers appointed Kalaitzis to head its Cyprus Office last year. He served as the firm's Sales Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa since October 2022.
Experience From Tools for Brokers
In this role, Kalaitzis oversaw the growth and management of Tools for Brokers' new and existing clients and partners. He also focused on championing the firm's growth in Cyprus.
Meanwhile, FunderPro recently rolled out several updates designed to enhance prop trading services for users. In the announcement, the company mentioned that the new offering makes it easy to attract and retain traders. Users can reportedly choose Spanish as their UI language.
Additionally, the company mentioned that the offering eliminates registration friction by enabling users to access the dashboard without signing up. It reportedly reduces the clicks required to start using the platform, making it easier for potential traders to get started. Guests can register within the dashboard and directly purchase their challenge.
