Yiannis Argyrou has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Zara FX, a financial services firm. According to Zara FX, this announcement emphasizes the strategic importance of the company's growth and positioning in the financial industry.
Zara FX serves retail and institutional clients globally, granting them access to an array of investments and trading options in Forex and contract for differences (CFDs). It operates with licenses obtained in Dubai.

FairXchange Onboards New Chief R&D Officer
FairXchange, a part of United Fintech, has onboarded Will Holt as the company's new Chief Research and Development Officer. He previously worked at Goldman Sachs and Tudor Investment Corporation.

eToro Gets UK Head of Finance
Simon Cole has joined the UK offices of eToro as the new Head of Finance. According to his LinkedIn profile, he is based in London and already assumed the role.
Cole brings more than two decades of experience to the role. Most recently, he was the Chief Financial Officer at Finveo UK for more than a year. He was also a Finance Director at Phoenix GSB Group. He brings extensive experience from the brokerage as he worked with ADSS and CMC Markets for a number of years.
Simply Business Taps Ex-GAIN Capital Executive as US CEO
Samantha Roady, a well-known FX industry executive, has become the new US Chief Executive of Simply Business, an online business insurance brokerage. She was previously the Chief Operating at MoneyLion.
Earlier, she spent years at GAIN Capital, which was acquired by StoneX. There, she held roles like Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Commercial Officer. She was additionally a part of GAIN Capital's board and was the President of the retail side of the business.

Adam Dubiel, a seasoned expert in e-commerce and technology, has joined XTB, a publicly listed company specializing in online investment platforms. While XTB is still mainly associated with a company in the retail trading sector, it has been developing proprietary technology and investment platforms in recent years, increasingly focusing on technology. The Technology Division accounts for approximately 40% of the company's workforce.
With Adam Dubiel at the helm, the company aims to strengthen this crucial department further. Before joining XTB, Dubiel spent over a decade as a CTO with Allegro, a leader in the e-commerce industry in Poland.

FINMA's CEO Urban Angehrn Resigns
Urban Angehrn, the CEO of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), has announced his resignation effective at the end of September 2023. The Deputy CEO, Birgit Rutishauser will serve as the interim CEO from 1 October. Angehrn has cited health reasons as the cause for his departure due to high-stress levels.
During his tenure, Angehrn successfully navigated FINMA through various challenges, including the Ukraine war and the Credit Suisse crisis. He expressed gratitude to his team and the Board of Directors for their support and said his decision to step down was guided by reason.
Melissa Di Donato Appointed as New CEO of Kyriba
Kyriba, a global leader in cloud-based finance and liquidity solutions, has announced the appointment of Melissa Di Donato as its new Chairwoman and CEO. Di Donato, who has a track record of leading tech companies to growth, will succeed Jean-Luc Robert. New Head of Technology Strategy at Hantec Markets
Michael O'Sullivan has left his role at INFINOX to join Hantec Markets as the new Head of Technology Strategy. He joined INFINOX in January 2021 as the Head of Technology and departed as the Chief Technology Officer.
O'Sullivan started his career at CMC Markets and spent 15 years at the London-headquartered broker, separating as the Head of Partnerships Operations and Delivery. He also spent a year at ATFX UK as the Head of Project Management.
Capital.com Onboards New Aussie Senior Financial Market Analyst
Capital.com announced the appointment of Kyle Rodda as the Senior Market Analyst responsible for market analysis in Australia and Asia Pacific. In the role, he will deliver market analysis on a regular basis to traders in Australia and globally.
He brings over ten years of industry experience and previously worked at the Australian arm of IG. Most recently, he was a Presenter and Market Commentator at the Australian business streaming platform, ausbiz TV.

CMC Markets Names Albert Soleiman as New CFO
CMC Markets (LON: CMCX) has named Albert Soleiman as the new Chief Financial Officer in an appointment that came as an internal promotion. He replaced Euan Marshall, who retired from the role and CMC's board but will remain with the Group for the next few months to ensure an orderly transition.
Soleiman spent a significant portion of his career at CMC Markets. He first joined the London-headquartered broker in November 2005 as a Tax Manager for Asia Pacific and became the Group Head of Tax in 2008. He also assumed the role of Head of Client Asset Management at CMC but separated from the broker in November 2019 after working there for 14 years.

Zenfinex’s Group CEO Exits, Joins Exinity as Group COO
Matthew Wright has stepped down as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Zenfinex to join Exinity as the Group Chief Operating Officer at the beginning of September. He is based in London, according to his LinkedIn profile.
The Exinity brand is a part of Andrey Dashin’s larger forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) empire, which includes names like Alpari and FXTM. Over the years, the Exinity brand has been expanding: apart from its presence in established markets, it is one of the few brokers to hold a license in Kenya.
