Martin Price Joins IG as Investor Relations Head

On Friday, IG Group (LON: IGG) announced the appointment of Martin Price as the broker’s Global Head of Strategic Finance and Investor Relations. He will be located in London and take over the role on 14 March.

He brings solid experience to the new role from the mainstream financial industry. Most recently, he was the Senior Vice President of Jefferies’ Equity Research team where he co-led the European Diversified Financials sector coverage.

CySEC’s Ex-Chair, Demetra Kalogerou, Joins Board of e-Money Firm ECOMMBX

ECOMMBX has appointed Demetra Kalogerou, the former Chair of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, as its newest Member to the Board. Previously, Kalogerou served as CySEC's Chair between September 2011 and September 2021.

ECOMMBX made the announcement of Kalogerou’s appointment on Tuesday. Speaking about the former Chairwoman joining the EMI’s Board, George Papadopoulos, the Chairman of ECOMMBX, explained that her commitment to innovation and excellence at the local and international level makes her an asset to the company.

Exclusive: Exness Changes Damian Bunce's Role to Chief Customer Officer

Exness has named Damian Bunce as its new Chief Customer Officer, Finance Magnates learned exclusively. Earlier, he was the broker's Chief Trading Officer since he joined in January 2021.

The brokerage highlighted that Bunce would be vital in steering the company's continued growth in the new role. The appointment was made when the trading volume on the brokerage was beating a record. While the statistics for February are not public yet, the trading volume at Exness for January came in at $2.82 trillion, smashing the previous record.

oneZero Elevates Relationship Manager to Director of Sales Role

oneZero Financial Systems has promoted Owen Tu to Director of Sales and Relationship Management. He holds professional experience in the prime brokerage industry.

Two years ago, Tu started his professional career at oneZero as a Regional Relationship Manager. Initially, he was in charge of developing, expanding and maintaining the relationships with institutional and broker clients and for analyzing institutional client behaviour.

Finalto Onboards New Institutional Sales VP to Bolster Leadership

Finalto has broadened its leadership by hiring Cal Portway as the Vice President of Institutional Sales, based in Sydney, Australia. According to his Linkedin profile, Portway has already joined the financial services company.

The appointment came around similar timing to Finalto having hired Marco Maggioni as the Sales Director, focusing on liquidity and execution services. Both appointments transpired when Hong Kong-based Gopher Investments took over the stewardship of Finalto as the new owner.

Currencycloud Taps New Head of Marketing and Sales to Support VISA Integration

Currencycloud has onboarded Maxime Guirauton as its Global Head of Marketing and Sales Development. Guirauton brings almost 20 years of marketing experience, having worked previously at Orange, JVC and Samsung.

Guirauton will oversee marketing and sales development in North America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific, navigating the firm's expansion into new markets. On top of that, he will play a pivotal role in Currencycloud's ongoing integration with VISA, which acquired the company in 2021.

Finalto Strengthens Its Sales Team with Former iS Prime Senior Marco Maggioni

Finalto announced that Marco Maggioni has recently joined its team. Maggioni joins as Sales Director with a focus on liquidity and execution services for the institutional market.

Additionally, he brings almost two decades of experience in the financial industry to the role.
