Monaxa, a newly established forex and contracts for difference broker, has appointed Chris Trikomitis, the former Established Markets Director at Exness, as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Trikomitis joined Monaxa after only 10 months at his former role at Exness.

Trikomitis announced his appointment on Friday in an update to his LinkedIn profile. However, the executive profile shows that he assumed the new role at Monaxa in January. He brings almost two decades of experience in the financial industry to the role. Trikomitis' last role at Exness saw him lead the forex and CFD broker’s established markets and collaborating with local commercial directors.

Speaking to Finance Magnates on his new role at Monaxa, Trikomitis noted that the new brokerage firm boasts of several experienced personnel some of whom he has previously worked with. The senior executive added that he was involved in creating the strategy, direction and overall mission statement of Monaxa. He described the new trading platform as being based on "new, innovative technologies."

"Monaxa is totally committed to giving its clients the best possible experience. This is one of the priorities of the company as we move towards acquiring more licensing and trading platforms," Trikomitis said.

Chris Trikomitis’ Career at FXPRIMUS, State Street

Apart from Exness, the senior executive over the years has worked for a few organizations including FXPRIMUS, State Street and Thomas Reuters. He joined FXPRIMUS in 2016 as Head of Operations and served as CEO for Asia Pacific until he left in early 2022.

Trikomitis joined FXPRIMUS from Thomas Reuters where he worked as a Service Manager between May 2012 and April 2014. At Thomas Reuters, the executive served at the TR-Elektron Hosting section. Elektron, which is split into Elektron Hosting and Managed Services and Elektron Real Time, is Thomas Reuters' enterprise infrastructure that connects financial institutions and trading venues across the globe. The infrastructure delivers real-time data for high-frequency and algorithmic trading.

Between September 2006 and July 2012, Trikomitis worked as a Project Manager and Senior IT Support Officer at State Street, an American financial services and bank holding company. The executive started his career as a Project Manager at CBRE, an American real estate investment company.

These entities include Monaxa Limited which is registered with the Financial Services Authority of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Monaxa AU PTY Limited which is regulated by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC ).
