BGC Partners, a global brokerage and financial company, announced that it had appointed Jason W. Hauf as Chief Financial Officer on Monday. According to the press release, he will replace Steven Bisgay in the role.
Hauf will report directly to Howard W. Lutnick, BGC’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and his appointment is effective immediately.
With over 30 years of experience in financial management and public accounting, Hauf has held senior-level positions in international organizations. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and CFO of Exos Technology and Financial Partners, where he helped build an investment bank and technology company from the ground up.
He served as the Managing Director and CFO of the Corporate and Institutional Banking Division of Royal Bank of Scotland, Americas, before joining Exos. Prior to joining AIG, Hauf served as the Vice President at Coopers & Lybrand, where he was a manager when he left. He has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Delaware.
