Lirunex Hires AssetsFX’s Waleed Salah as Head of Sales MENA

Lirunex, a multi-regulated forex broker , has hired Waleed Salah, the former Head of Sales for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) at AssetsFX, as its new Head of Sales for the MENA region. Salah announced his appointment at the Marshall Island-registered broker on Friday through LinkedIn.

The executive, who brings about 14 years of industry experience to the new role, spent only two months in his former role at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines-registered firm, AssetsFX. He worked for the online broker between August and September 2022.

Salah’s FX Sales Journey over the Last Decade

Since starting his career in May 2008 as a Customer Services Representative for FX Comparison, Salah has worked for a number of top forex brands such as Valuetrades, BlackBull Markets, RoboForex and USGFX.

Before joining AssetsFX, Salah was the Head of Sales for MENA at forex and CFDs broker, OxSecurities, where he worked for only four months between April and July last year. However, before that, he spent 11 months in the same capacity at Valutrades.

Salah joined Valutrades from New Zealand-based multi-asset broker BlackBull Markets where he served as the Head of the Arabic Office. However, he only spent three months with the broker, according to his profile on LinkedIn.

Between April 2016 and May 2022, Salah held various positions at USGFX including Manager of the Middle East Office. This was one of Salah’s longest career roles at an organization. However, before that, he worked for nine months as a Sales Team Manager at RoboForex.

Salah ran his own academy for four years between November 2011 and 2015. During this period, he worked with international online broker FBS. His other earlier career days were spent at FX Comparison between 2008 and 2011.
