INTL FCStone Inc. (NASDAQ:INTL), a provider of financial services across multiple asset classes, has appointed Arlan Suderman as the newest member of its subsidiary's research team, INTL FCStone Financial Inc.

Mr. Suderman will be joining INTL FCStone Financial Inc.’s FCM division as its Chief Commodities Economist. He joins the group following a lengthy career in commodity market analysis, spanning over seventeen years.

This includes a recent stop at Water Street Solutions, having worked as its Senior Market Analyst, where he focused on both US and global factors for agricultural commodities.

According to Dave Smoldt, INTL FCStone Financial Inc.'s President of Commodities for the FCM Division, in a recent statement on the appointment, "Often the right information at the right time can make the difference between making the right or wrong move in the markets. Arlan's addition to the team enhances our ability to provide the right information to our customers. We are thrilled to have someone with his experience and expertise to offer to our customers."

"Being a part of a company like INTL FCStone will allow me to draw on their incredible network of resources and provide the best information possible to our customers and enable them to make the best decisions for their businesses," added Mr. Suderman in an accompanying statement.

Last month, INTL FCStone underwent an executive shakeup, after its President of the company, Scott Branch relinquished his position to CEO Sean M. O’Connor. After being appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2009, following the Merger between FCStone Group Inc. and the International Assets Holding Corporation, Mr. Branch announced his impending retirement in 2016.
