Exness has recruited Chris Trikomitis as its new Established Markets Director, Finance Magnates learned exclusively.

Trikomitis will lead the broker’s established markets team and will collaborate with local commercial directors. His primary goal is to generate revenue from the broker’s businesses in established markets.

Finvasia CEO Tajinder Virk Becomes ZuluTrade’s Interim Chief

Finvasia announced, earlier in the week, the appointment of Tajinder Virk as the new interim Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

He replaced the previous CEO, George Illias. Virk’s appointment is temporary as ZuluTrade is presently searching for a candidate to take over the apex role in a permanent capacity.

Virk, the Co-Founder of Finvasia, also heads the financial services holding company as its CEO. Additionally, he is an Executive Director at Fxview and ActTrader Technologies. Moreover, he is on the Board of Australia-based Capital Wallet as a Non-Executive Director.

Eugenie Curtil Becomes Bank of America’s FX Sales Head

Bank of America Merrill Lynch announced that Eugenie Curtil is replacing Bryant Park, the Head of global FX sales, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News. According to the media outlet.

Curtil has worked as the Head of FX Sales for the European Union at Bank of America. Previously, Curtil was employed as Head of EMEA Real Money FX Sales and FX Sales Director. Overall, the executive has been employed for more than eleven years at the company.

Before joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch, she worked as Vice President of FX Sales at Bank of America in London between 2008 and 2010. This was before the rebranding to Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Between 2005 and 2008, Curtil worked as an FX Sales Associate at Lehman Brothers.

Additionally, she pursued studies at Lycée Sainte-Geneviève and ESSEC Business School between 1998 and 2004.

Swiss Bank, UBS, Welcomes Back Frances Fahey as Chief of Staff

UBS has rehired its former Head of Strategy of Europe, Frances Fahey, as its new Chief of Staff for its global markets unit.

Financial News reported that Fahey is stepping into Julie Beavan’s shoes after Beavan moved in February to head the firm’s investment bank in the United Kingdom.

Fahey will now join the bank’s global markets management forum after more than three years at River and Mercantile Group (R&M) where she was Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Victoria McLoughlin Resumes as Interim Head of FCA’s Digital Assets Unit

The Financial Conduct Authority has appointed Victoria McLoughlin, its former Supervision Manager of Cryptoassets & Digital Markets, as the Interim Head of its Digital Assets Department.

McLoughlin led the FCA’s supervision of virtual asset service providers (VASPs) and cryptoasset firms from January 2020 until her appointment.

She spent over a decade at the regulator serving in various capacities including as a manager for the “design, implementation and embedding of key aspects of FCA’s new approach to supervising firms.”

ZenLedger Appoints Four New C-suite Level Executives

ZenLedger, a cryptocurrency data analysis company, said on Wednesday that it hired four new c-suite level executives.

According to the press release, the firm has named Duyane Norman as its new Chief Strategy Officer, Daniel D. Escobar as Chief Technology Officer, Jonté Harrell as Chief Financial Officer and Greg Adams as Chief Operations Officer.

Mayur Gupta Becomes New Kraken’s Chief Marketing Officer

Kraken announced that it had appointed Mayur Gupta as its new Chief Marketing Officer. According to the press release, Gupta will lead its product and growth marketing efforts ‘to advance Kraken’s mission and become the crypto platform of choice for consumers, creators and professional investors’.

Mayur joins Kraken from Gannett, where he led the transformation of the company from an advertising-led media company to a subscription-led content platform that is obsessed with user value. Previously, Gupta held key marketing and growth leadership positions at Freshly, Spotify, Healthgrades, Kimberly-Clark and SapientNitro.

Tim Tu, CEO of Credit Suisse Securities Joint Venture in China Has Stepped Down

Tim Tu, the CEO of Credit Suisse’s securities joint venture in China has stepped down. Tu will seek other opportunities at Credit Suisse. Currently, Daniel Qiu is acting as the interim CEO of the CSSCL venture while maintaining his position as the Head of Investment Banking & Capital Markets (IBCM) at CSSCL.

It has been reported that Tim Tu will relocate to Hong Kong. His new position remains undisclosed at the time of this writing.

Stripe Names James Phillips as President of Financial Services

Recently, Stripe, an online payment processing platform, confirmed that James Phillips has been onboarded as the President of Financial Services. Phillips aims to facilitate Stripe's expansion.

The newly appointed President of Financial Services is joining the company from Microsoft where he served for more than 10 years and led the Digital Transformation Platform Group.

Stripe is one of the most valuable financial startups in the world. In March last year, the company raised $600 million in a funding round and received a valuation of $95 billion.
