AFX Capital has announced the opening of a new office in the heart of the finance world, Downtown New York City. Since 2010, AFX Capital has been expanding around the world with branches opening in Italy, United Kingdom, China and Cyprus. However, this is the first time the firm has established an office in the United States.
The CEO of AFX Capital, Manuela Mazzacco, commented “To keep growing as a company, we believe that it is important to establish an office in New York. The opening represents a critical milestone in the company’s development, as an established financial broker and having Tom O’Reilly on board as a Senior Vice President of Sales, reinforces the prestige of our new office.”
Tom O’Reilly entered the Forex industry in 1977, as a voice broker in the interbank market for Marshalls, Astley, Prebon, and other leading firms for 20 years. Mr. O’Reilly joined the electronic dealing side with EBS in 1997, and since 2003, he has been working in FXDD.
Manuela Mazzacco, also stated, “We are delighted to have a footprint in the United States, so that we can expand our global network and strengthening relationships with our business partners is a key part of AFX Capital’s strategy”.
The company very recently made the news when James Watts joined as its Head of UK Sales. Watts parted ways with London Capital Group (LCG) to take on a new role at AFX Capital.
