Florida-headquartered information technology firm FIS has hired Alexandra Boecking as a Senior Sales Executive in London, according to market sources.
FIS serves more than 20,000 clients and more than one million merchant locations in over 130 countries.
In August 2015, FIS announced that it had signed a definitive agreement to acquire software provider SunGuard.
SunGuard was formed in 1993, as a spin-off of the computer services division of Sun Oil Company.
Prior to moving to FIS, Boecking was Director and Founder of Caenis Consulting Limited, a firm specialising in supporting fintech companies entering the European market space, for two years.
Before that, she worked as a Senior Account Manager at Broadway Technology from 2018.
Decades of industry experience
Boecking’s career started in 1996 at ABN AMRO in Frankfurt, where she served in Derivative Sales, before relocating to London in 1997 to join financial services firm Paine Webber in Fixed Income Sales.
She held similar roles at TD and Credit Suisse and Mizuho later and then moved to, now CME owned, Risk Management service provider TriOptima in 2012.
Boecking spent four years in various business development and EMEA sales roles at TriOptima.
She marketed service across EMEA and globally, established pilot clients and supported development of the services and UI (user interface), working closely with quantative research.
In 2017, Boecking became a Regional Manager at CloudMargin, expanding the client base for the Cloud based SaaS Collateral Management solution CloudMargin.
