Amana Capital Promotes Mahmoud Elbakatoushy to Vice President

Amana Capital, a big name in the retail brokerage space, has promoted Mahmoud Elbakatoushy to the position of Vice President. Based in Dubai, he joined the company in May 2019 as a Senior Relationship Manager.

“I am thrilled to share with you that I’m starting a new role as Vice President at Amana,” Elbakatoushy wrote on a social media post.

“It has been such a pleasure to grow, learn and evolve in a great professional work environment and with incredible leadership. I am thankful to every person who shared their knowledge and support. I’m enthusiastic and full of energy to achieve greater success and add more value to Amana.”

Elbakatoushy’s promotion is one of many such recent internal executive moves of the broker. Finance Magnates earlier this month reported on the promotion of Fayez Alkhouli, who is now Amana’s Vice President of sales.

The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) focused broker even strengthened the leadership of its product team with the appointment of Matt Carstens and Justin Biebel. Additionally, the broker brought in Joy Dabeet as its new Chief Marketing Officer and Mani Sahota as the Chief Information Officer.

Elbakatoushy’s Background

Elbakatoushy has ten years of work experience and has spent all of that at the brokerage industry.

Before joining Amana, he worked for a couple of years with GKFX as a Sales Manager. He started his career at Egypt’s Arabeya Online Brokerage and later moved to Dubai-based Al Hilal Bank. Furthermore, he worked at HYCM for less than a year as an Account Manager.
