International digital asset platform, Amber Group has recently announced the appointment of Benjamin Bai, an industry veteran with deep knowledge of legal and risk management matters, as the company’s Chief Legal Officer.
In his new role, Bai will serve as Amber Group’s Chief Lawyer and the Global Head of Legal and Compliance. According to the details shared by Amber Group, Bai’s legal and compliance guidance will help its plans of entering international markets with diverse regulatory environments.

As our team focuses on expanding our products and services offering to effectively accelerate our growth, we believe that Benjamin's experience and legal knowledge will prove to be an invaluable asset to us," said Wayne Huo, the Chief Operating Officer at Amber Group.
The latest announcement from Amber Group came a few months after the company raised $200 million in a funding round at a valuation of approximately $3 billion. The investment round was led by Singapore’s Temasek.
Bai’s Profile
Amber Group’s newly appointed Chief Legal Officer joins the company from Ant Group. In his career of more than two decades in the legal sector, Bai worked with some of the world’s prominent law firms as a partner.
