Amish J. Naik joined Google Cloud as an Enterprise Account Executive this month, according to market sources.
He has over 13 years of experience in Fixed Income with a speciality in electronic trading and digital platforms.
Naik moved to the firm from BNP Paribas, where he served as Head of Global iX Sales Strategy before.
He had joined the French bank’s New York office as a Director within the FXLM and Commodity Derivatives division of Global Markets and was responsible for managing sales and product development of BNP Paribas’ Cortex iX algorithmic Execution business for the Americas.
In his latest role at the firm, Naik was focusing on driving growth and expansion globally across the bank’s corporate and institutional client franchises.
Citigroup and Deutsche Bank
Earlier, he spent more than three years as a Vice President FX Sales and Trading in FX e-commerce sales at Citigroup.
Naik’s career began at Deutsche Bank in 2005, where he was Head of FX Prime Brokerage Relationship, North America, for four years.
He also served in strategy and business development at the bank for one year, before joining Citigroup.
Google Cloud Platform, offered by Google, is a suite of cloud computing services that runs on the same infrastructure Google uses internally for its end-user products, such as Google Search, Gmail and YouTube.
The platform provides a series of modular cloud services including computing, data storage, data Analytics and machine learning, alongside a set of management tools.
