Many forex industry executives have started 2022 in a new company. One of them is Andreas Lambrou, who joined Key Way Group, the parent company of broker Capex.com, as the Group Chief Financial Officer.
“I am really excited to announce my new position as Group CFO of Key Way Group, the group behind CAPEX.COM, a global brand with the goal of transforming the way people trade online,” he wrote on a social media post.
A Finance Expert
Lambrou is a well-experienced executive in the financial industry and has spent the last 13 years of his career working in the finance and accounting departments of several companies.
He joined the new role after leaving HotForex, where he was the Group Head of Finance and Accounting for more than five years. There, he held the position of Executive Director at the DFSA and FSC licensed subsidiaries. In addition, he is a sitting Non-Executive Director at Athlos Capital, a CySEC -registered company specializing in the trading of fixed income instruments.
Lambrou started his career in finance in mid-2008 by joining the Cypriot division of Deloitte, one of the big four accounting firms, as an Assistant Manager and worked in the audit and assurance department.
After spending more than five years with Deloitte, he joined SELCO, a Danish electrical and electronic equipment manufacturer, as a Finance Manager. Moreover, he worked at the Cypriot retail chain, Ermes as a Financial Accounting Manager.
Meanwhile, Lambrou is not the only big hire of Capex in recent months. The broker group onboarded Tarek Nabil as the Chief Operating Officer in July 2021, Finance Magnates reported earlier.
