Finance Magnates has learned that Andrew Richards has been appointed to Head of Prime Brokerage at ROSTRO Financial Group. According to an update on LinkedIn, he will be based in London, working for the company.
Prior to joining ROSTRO Financial Group, Richards was the Head of Prime Brokerage Sales and the Director of Primes Services Sales at BCS Global Markets between 2019 and 2022. Moreover, he worked as the Global Securities Finance Director at ING between 2018 and 2019.
The executive had an extensive tenure at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was employed for over 10 years as the Vice President of Account Management. Before his career at the US bank, he worked as the ETD Account Manager for UBS Investment Bank.
According to his educational background, he holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of the West of England. “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Prime Brokerage at ROSTRO Financial Group,” he commented via LinkedIn.

According to a LinkedIn post on Friday, Dewi Walters, a seasoned reward professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry, will be joining IG, one of the leading financial trading services providers, as the Head of Reward.
It has been more than seven years since Walters joined IG Group. He previously held the position of Senior Reward Manager before assuming the role of Head of Reward. In his tenure at IG, Walters held various key positions and supported the company’s growth.
Walters has a strong presence in the regional financial services sector. Before joining IG Group, he was working with Deloitte, a global professional services network, as the employment tax manager. He served the company for more than six years. Prior to that, he worked with GSK as a Medicinal Chemist. He was part of the company for more than two years.
