Arun Lakhani Leaves Equiti Capital

Finance Magnates has learned that Arun Lakhani is leaving Equiti Capital after working for 2 years as a Partner Solutions Manager. According to an update via LinkedIn, the firm's former employee noted that yesterday was his last day at Equiti Capital.

“Grateful for the last two years, I have worked with some fantastic people and made friends for life. I wish them all the best for the future. I am looking forward to a few weeks off before getting my teeth stuck into my new challenge,” he commented.

Prior to his tenure at Equiti Capital, Lakhani worked in Gold-i Ltd as a Business Development Manager for nearly a year and had a short tenure as a Senior Support Engineer. Moreover, he worked as Technical Support Engineer for over four years.

In the UK, he was employed by the Surrey Police as an IT Technical Specialist for over two years. Also, Lakhani worked as a Customer Service Assistant at Sainsbury's in 2012 and as a Junior Business Analyst between 2010 and 2011.

According to his educational background, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Kingston University and pursued studies in high school at George Abbot School.

There is no word on which company Lakhani will be working as of press time.

Recent Appointments Announced in the FX Sphere

Recently, XBO.com appointed Pawel Cichowski as its new Head of Dealing Department, which is based in Cyprus. Cichowski previously worked as the Chief Dealer and Head of Dealing for NAGA between September 2020 and May 2022.

He has an extensive background in the financial industry, having worked for over seven years in FxPro Group as the Supervisor Dealer and FX Dealer in Limassol. Between 2008 and 2011, Cichowski was employed at Meritum Bank ICB SA in Poland.
