AxiomSL Adds Nicola Hortin as the Head of Its EMEA Regulation Team

AxiomSL, a provider of regulatory reporting and Risk Management solutions, has appointed Nicola Hortin as its newest Head of its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Regulatory Analysis Team, according to an AxiomSL statement.

In her new role as AxiomSL's Head of EMEA, Ms. Hortin will help lead the regulatory team’s direction and work across a broad spectrum of topics, including Basel lll capital and Liquidity requirements, Pillar 3 disclosures, the Standardized Approach for Measuring Counterparty Credit Risk Exposures (SA-CCR), among others.

Ms. Hortin has earned over a decade of senior experience working in a variety of regulatory roles, including stops at banks and software institutions. She joins AxiomSL from JPMorgan, having worked there for the past five years – additional stops include SECAM+ and high-level roles with the Bank of England.

According to Ed Royan, Chief Operating Officer EMEA, AxiomSL, in a recent statement on the appointment, “Financial firms face a major challenge today to implement solutions for a long list of regulations and to ensure they remain compliant when the requirements change. Our Regulatory Analysis Team is significantly reducing the burden on our clients by monitoring and analyzing the evolving requirements on their behalf.”
