Israel's Bank Leumi has named Martin Droney as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Operations & Technology Officer, according to a corporate statement.

In his new capacity, Martin will be tasked with overseeing the rapidly growing bank’s technology infrastructure and operations. Based in New York, Droney will oversee a team of more than 100 full-time employees and contractors.
Prior to joining Leumi, Martin worked with Fiserv for more than 7 years, most recently as Chief Information Officer for its Card Services division. Earlier in his career, Martin held technology leadership positions in a variety of industries and organizations, including consulting positions with both Accenture and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Marty holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Management of Technology from Lehigh University.
Bank Leumi USA is an FDIC-insured commercial bank that facilitates investments and trade between the US and Israel, which recently completed a $40 million technology upgrade.
