Bankable, an enabler of global payment solutions, has announced the appointment of Richo Strydom as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Strydom, a seasoned financial technology industry executive, brings with him over 16 years experience, most recently as Chief Technology Officer for Solutions and Risk at Credit Suisse where he was responsible for technology strategy, governance and operational risk.

Strydom previously held several senior technology management roles at Deutsche Bank, working within the Investment Banking division and delivering Risk and P&L technology across Credit, Rates, Equities and Emerging Markets. He eventually moved on to become CTO for Global Wealth Solutions.
Prior to Deutsche Bank, Strydom was CTO and Deputy Managing Director of Valtech Ltd, a technology consultancy co-founded by Bankable’s founder and CEO, Eric Mouilleron.

As COO, Strydom will be responsible for business operations, product development, architecture and implementation. His initial focus will be supporting Bankable’s growth by expanding the team and developing a scalable and flexible delivery organisation of highly skilled resources to meet the diverse requirements of Bankable’s targeted industry verticals.
