BCS Global Markets, a Russian investment bank and securities broker on the Moscow Exchange (MOEX), has promoted Bradley Duke and Tim Bevan as the newest co-CEOs of its UK entity, BCS Prime Brokerage Ltd (BCS UK).
BCS UK has been rapidly expanding its personnel so far in 2017, having made a series of hires during Q1. Its latest decision to promote two chief executives helps maximize the group’s talent, also allocating its administrative responsibility across a recently adopted matrix management structure.
Mr, Bevan’s appointment also follows a recent promotion as BCS’ Global Head of Prime Brokerage. This saw him expanding his remit to cover prime business in Russia while also launching the wealth management division at the group. He previously held senior level roles at Otkritie Securities Ltd, Renaissance Capital, and the London Stock Exchange .
Mr. Duke joined BCS last year as its Regional Head of UK, Europe and the US. He joined BCS from Knight Capital where he played a key role as Head of Knight Direct Europe and Knight’s Hotspot FX business in Europe.
According to Roman Lokhov, Chief Executive Officer of BCS Global Markets, in a statement on the appointments: “I believe that appointing Tim and Bradley as co-CEO of BCS UK is the optimal solution for addressing both business and administrative demands.”
“I have known Bradley and Tim for a long time and have worked with them in several organisations over the last 15 years. We share a unified vision and, at such an important stage of our company’s growth, two CEO’s in the UK means the burden of major areas of responsibility can be shared allowing each greater flexibility to reflect, innovate and execute,” he added.
