Bloomberg has promoted Paula Fry to the role of Global Head of Fixed Income and FX Trading Liquidity from similar previous responsibilities but only for the EMEA. She has already taken over the new London-based responsibilities.
Bloomberg Promotes Paula Fry in New FX Trading Liquidity Role
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Global Head of Fixed Income and FX Trading Liquidity at Bloomberg!” Fry wrote in a Linkedin post, adding: “Looking forward to seeing my colleagues, teams, and friends around the globe a little more regularly.”

Bloomberg Secures A Veteran FX Expert
Fry has been working for Bloomberg over the last seven years. She joined the company in October 2015 in a role at London-based FXGO Sales, covering the buy-side of the city’s FX markets. Over the years, she climbed the ranks in the company, holding positions, including Multi-Asset Execution Services, Fixed Income Buyside Sales, and EMEA Head of eFX Sales.
Before the latest promotion, she was the EMEA Head of Fixed Income and FX Trading Liquidity.
She is a forex industry veteran with almost three decades of experience. According to her Linkedin profile, she started her career at Goldman Sachs and worked there for 14 years, parting as the Executive Director of Fixed Income Currencies and Commodities.
After Goldman Sachs, Fry had a year-long stint at the London offices of Citi in a role around eFX Sales. She later joined Liquidity Pool (formerly MAKO FX) in Global eFX Sales and worked there for one year and five months. Before joining Bloomberg, she was the Head of Sales at Pierrepoint FX, an agency specializing in eFX execution, for a year.
