BlueCrest Capital Management, a global asset management firm focused on fixed income macro trading, has secured the services of Amol Navandar as its newest Portfolio Manager with immediate effect, Finance Magnates has learned.

In his new role at BlueCrest Capital Management Mr. Navandar will be based out of Singapore, focusing on emerging markets (EM) macro trading. He joins the group after a lengthy career in the investment banking space, part of a career lasting over a decade. The majority of his career has been relegated to FX options, including vanilla and exotic options, as well as FX spot and forwards.
Mr. Navandar comes over to BlueCrest Capital Management from Deutsche Bank, where he worked as a Director of EM FX Options Trading for over two years in Singapore. Prior to this role, he worked in senior positions at a number of lenders, including a lead role in EM FX Trading at RBS Markets & International Banking.
In this position, he specialized in EM and FX, including market making for INR and IDR non deliverable forwards (NDFs). Additional roles also include stints at Barclays Capital as its Vice President of FX Options Trading and AVP, FX Forwards Trading, dating back to 2005, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.
