The new members to the division are Boris Afanasiev, Benoît Bellone and Frédéric Abergel. Together, they will work in the QRG Research Lab and report to the Co-Heads of QRG, Thomas Heckel and François Soupé.
Afanasiev, Bellone, and Abergel join a team of about 30 quantitive investment experts in BNP Paribas’ asset management unit. The QRG is part of the company’s Products and Strategic Marketing division, which is led by Pierre Moulin.
Afanasiev, who joins from StatQuant Consulting where he was Managing Director, is based in London. Bellone and Abergel, however, are based in Paris. The three new additions will perform strategic research across all asset classes.
