BOSONIC has onboarded James Roddy as its new Sales Director of Institutional Sales, effective from February 2022.
Finance Magnates recently became aware of the move through LinkedIn that James Roddy, a senior executive with more than twenty years of experience in the financial industry, has been recruited by BOSONIC, a California-based crypto company, as its new Sales Director of Institutional Sales.
A Peek at Roddy’s Vocational History
Prior to the post on LinkedIn, Roddy served VIBHS Financial UK as its Business Development Manager. For more than six years, he fulfilled the requirements of the position, covering Asia, Europe, MENA and the Americas.
Before that Roddy spent three years at ICM.com where he served as the Business Development Manager for the EMEA region.
Earlier, Valbury Capital utilised his skills and experience as its FX & Precious Metals Sales and Project Manager. This stint lasted just over a year as he fulfilled the role requirements.
Then, in November 2007, Roddy joined the ranks of ODL Securities as its FX & Commodities Sales Trading/Prime Brokerage. He spent almost four years as a Sales Trader, a Broker and then in Business Development.
His earliest known position was with BGC Partners (Cantor Fitzgerald) in January 2000 as the Bond and Credit Default Swaps Broker. During this time, he serviced clients at top tier investment banks including JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Bank Of America Merrill Lynch.
