Broadridge Names Two Senior Appointments to its Matrix Financial Solutions Unit

Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:BR), a provider of investor communications and technological solutions for broker-dealers, banks, and mutual funds has made multiple senior level appointments, tapping Cindy Dash as its newest General Manager and John Moody as the Chief Solutions Officer at Matrix Financial Solutions, according to a Broadridge statement.

Matrix Financial Solutions serves as Broadridge’s Mutual Fund and Exchange -Traded-Funds (ETF) Trade Processing division. At the present, Matrix works with upwards of 400 financial institutions, which is responsible for over $300 billion in customer assets processed via its mutual fund and ETF Trading Platform .

In her new role as the General Manager at Broadridge, Ms. Dash will be tasked with overseeing and executing the group’s overall business strategy and day-to-day operations. She originally joined Matrix back in 1999, having since worked at the group for the past seventeen years in a multitude of rules - she will continue to be based out of Denver, CO.

This includes stints as its Chief Operating Officer (COO) in which she helped managed operations, enterprise risk, and revenue production. Prior to becoming COO, she also worked as General Counsel for Matrix from 2001 until 2011, focusing on such responsibilities as completing acquisitions and negotiating significant contracts for revenue production.

By extension, Mr. Moody will serve Matrix Financial as its Chief Solutions Officer. As its Chief Solutions Officer, he will be elevated to a new role, overseeing sales and product development, working closely with clients to help develop new data-driven solutions.

According to Michael Liberatore, President of Broadridge’s Mutual Fund and Retirement Solutions in a recent statement on the appointments, “Cindy and John’s leadership has been critical to the growth and success of Matrix. Their expertise and guidance has made Matrix one of the largest trade processing businesses in the marketplace. With Cindy now responsible for overseeing all aspects of Matrix, and John focused on business and product development, we are well-positioned to help our clients grow their businesses.”
