To accelerate its next phase of growth, BUX, one of the fastest-growing mobile brokers in Europe, announced the appointment of Dan Zbijowski, the former Head of Marketing at MyBuilder, as the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer, today.
Zbijowski has more than 15 years of experience in developing in-house multidisciplinary teams of fast-growing startups with successful exits. He has joined BUX from Delivery Hero where he was serving as the Vice President of International Marketing to drive Delivery Hero’s growth.
To expand its global presence, BUX has taken several initiatives in the past few months. BUX recently announced the completion of its acquisition of a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF). In addition, the company announced the appointment of Jean-Raphael Nahas as the new Managing Director of its Cyprus operations.
Yorick Naeff, the CEO of BUX, said that the appointment of Zbijowski will play an instrumental role in the company’s expansion across Europe. “As we expand our presence across Europe, we are poised for the next phase of explosive growth. We've reached a new stage in our business growth, and Dan brings with him a wealth of experience to bring a scale up to a unicorn success. His in-depth knowledge of the steps to scale a new business model for success will be critical to achieving the ambitious growth goals in the period ahead,” Naeff said.
BUX
Earlier this year, BUX introduced fractional investing in Europe to facilitate investors. Last year, the company raised $80 million in a funding round led by Prosus Ventures and Tencent.
“The BUX team has a clear passion to bring the latest innovations in the mobile broker evolution to Europe. BUX has an exceptional market fit to do this. As interest in investing among retail investors continues to grow in Europe, there is both an ever-expanding available market and a clear client problem in addressing financial literacy," said Zbijowski.
