Christopher Gore, chief executive officer at GO Markets, is set to depart the firm today, Finance Magnates has learned.

“Today is my final day as CEO of GO Markets, so I thought it is perhaps appropriate that I give a quick shout-out to my team and acknowledge the help and support I’ve received over the last 11-years. We’ve grown a great business together. I look forward to seeing the company continue to grow from the sidelines”, Gore stated on his linked in profile earlier today.

He had joined the firm in Melbourne as a currency analyst 11 years ago and held various roles throughout his time at GO Markets, including director, responsible manager and company secretary. Gore became chief executive officer at the firm in 2017.

Prior to joining GO Markets, Gore worked as a sales trader and market commentator at IG Markets in Melbourne for four years.

His career began as an e-commerce consultant at WebTrader in Sydney in 1998.
