Mr. Jokovic was once formally pegged as a potential fit for CEO of Deutsche Bank Australia, but instead he ultimately retiring from the lender earlier in February of this year. However, after nearly five months, he finds himself facing a new role as the CEO of Chi-X Australia, a subsidiary of alternative trading venue operator Chi-X APAC.

The selection of Mr. Jokovic follows a lengthy search for a new CEO, not only in Australia but globally too. “Vic is a high performing and inspirational capital markets executive, with more than 30 years of experience across equity, derivative and debt markets. He is a proven leader with the skills, depth of knowledge and personal attributes to lead Chi-X through the next phase of growth,” explained Chi-X Chairman David Morgan.

Mr. Jokovic lands at Chi-X Australia after a lengthy tenure at Deutsche Bank that saw him spend over twenty-five years with the lender.
