Citi Promoted Stuart Staley to Global Co-Head of Foreign Exchange

Citi announced that it has promoted Stuart Staley to Global Co-Head of Foreign Exchange.

In an article recently shared with Finance Magnates, Stuart Staley, an executive veteran with more than thirty years of experience, has been promoted by Citi, one of the largest banks in the world, to Global Co-Head of Foreign Exchange.

Staley will relocate to London from his previous position based in Singapore. He will drive the FX business with Itay Tuchman, the Global Head of Foreign Exchange, as they will share the duties in supervising FX trading.

Glancing over Staley’s Career

Prior to the announcement of the promotion, Staley served Citi as Head of APAC Markets & Securities Services for four years. He was elevated from his position as Global Head of Commodities, which he fulfilled over eight years. He began with Citi as its Head of Commodities for the Americas and spent almost six years in the role.

In December 2001, he joined the ranks of AEP Energy Services Ltd. (UK)

and served as its Managing Director and CEO.

In addition, Enron Europe Ltd recruited Staley in October 1998 as its Vice-President.

Before that, he took on the responsibilities of Director at Enron and stayed there for just over three years.

Also, he worked for Industrial Economics, Incorporated (IEc) as a Research Analyst from September 1990 to June 1992.
