CMC Markets Plc announced this Monday that it has secured a new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), with the online trading provider appointing Brendan Foxen to the role.
CMC Markets, which also provided institutional technology solutions, said in its statement today that it has created the additional role of CTO following the diversification and development of its retail platform, as well as its institutional B2B white and grey label offerings.
Before taking on this role with the trading provider, Foxen was the CTO of Contino, a digital transformation consultancy. According to the statement from CMC, in this position, he was instrumental in growing the company from 16 to 400 employees, as well as driving the company’s expansion globally.

During his career, Foxen also led digital transformation programmes at Allianz and EDF. Earlier in his role, he held roles at Channel 4, Cable & Wireless and Hyperlink.
