Global brokerage CMC Markets has re-hired and appointed Alicia Tan as the Head of Marketing of the APAC and Canadian region. She already joined the brokerage at the end of last month and is based in Sydney, Australia.
“Wow what a whirlwind! Excited to announce that I'm back at CMC Markets APAC & Canada and heading up the amazing regional marketing team,” Tan wrote on a Linkedin post. “It's only day 3 and already I'm blown away with the brilliant work the team is doing, can't wait to get stuck in!”
This is her second tenure with the Forex and CFDs brokerage as she previously spent almost five years with the company in various marketing roles. Then, she joined the Sydney office of the broker as a Stockbroking Marketing Executive and climbed up the ranks to part as a Senior Marketing Manager, APAC & CA in May 2019.
She joined CMC Markets recently after spending over a year at the food-tech platform, Foodbomb as a Senior Marketing Manager.
“It was bittersweet saying goodbye to the Foodbomb family,” she added.
Tan is a business graduate with a marketing major from the University of Technology, Sydney. She started her professional career in marketing at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, spending almost four years with the organization.
