CMC Markets has continued announcing new appointments across multiple regions of its operations, the latest being a long-term industry veteran from Poland. After spending almost 12 years in the industry, the former Managing Director of City Index for Eastern Europe and Germany, Lukasz Wardyn, has been appointed as Head for Eastern Europe.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Mr. Wardyn started working at CMC Markets in August and will be heading the company’s office in Warsaw, Poland.
With the slew of new appointments which the company has made this year, the rumors about an upcoming initial public offering of CMC Markets are starting to make the rounds again. The company’s brand has been frequently cited next to another big publicly traded brokerage - IG Group.
Looking at the latest Investment Trends report covering the CFDs industry in Australia, the two brokerages are leading the pack in the region with their combined market share surpassing 50 percent.
Looking back a couple of months ago, the company appointed several new executives to its team. After hiring David Hodge as its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) back in May, the firm also promoted Craig Inglis to Head of Germany and Austria and onboarded Richard Elston as Head of Partners, with the aim to boost the presence of CMC Markets in the international partner space.
