Cornerstone FS Names James Hickman as New Chief Executive Officer

AIM-listed cloud-based provider of global payment and currency management services, Cornerstone FS announced today that the company has selected James Hickman, an industry veteran with almost 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The details shared by Cornerstone FS show that the appointment of Hickman will take effect on 12 September 2022. In his broad career, the company’s newly selected CEO worked with some of the prominent names in the global corporate sector, including Equals and Caxton FX.

Hickman joins Cornerstone from Fire Financial Services where he has been working as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for the last 12 months. At Equals, Hickman worked as Chief Commercial Officer for approximately five years.

“James brings a wealth of industry experience and excellent strategic and leadership skills to Cornerstone, and I am delighted that he will be our new Chief Executive Officer. He has impressed the Board with his clarity of vision, breadth of knowledge and his strong client-centric mindset. The Board believes he is a great fit for Cornerstone, with the combination of skills and experience to lead the business through its next strategic phase,” Cornerstone’s Chairman, Elliott Mannis shared his views on the latest appointment.

Hickman has deep expertise in the payment sector. As a Managing Director at Caxton FX, Cornerstone's new CEO spent more than 12 years.
